The product catalog lives under the Stock menu, in Products.
0:09
It holds everything the stores keep in the warehouse, with its SKU,
0:14
its barcodes and its stock.
0:16
The first step is picking the store.
0:18
As an operator you manage the catalog of several stores and each one has its own,
0:23
so until you pick one the list stays empty on purpose.
0:27
With the store applied its catalog shows up.
0:30
Each row shows the name, the description, the SKUs of its variants and how many there are.
0:36
The green dot on the right means the product is active,
0:40
and the Pack tag marks the products that are built from others.
0:44
One important thing: this catalog fills itself.
0:47
As orders come in from the connected sales channels,
0:50
products that don't exist yet are created automatically.
0:54
The search box takes the name, the SKU or the barcode.
0:58
And if you have a barcode scanner connected, you don't even need to type:
1:02
scan the product and the search fires on its own.
1:06
Clear the search and the full catalog comes back.
1:09
Tapping any product opens its detail page.
1:12
The detail page shows the product's general information:
1:16
its description, the unit it is counted in, the category,
1:19
the brand and the dates it was created and last changed.
1:23
The image also arrives on its own from the sales channel when the product is created;
1:28
here you see the grey placeholder because these don't have one yet.
1:33
Below is the variants table.
1:35
A variant is each concrete version that gets stored and moved:
1:39
here there's only one, but a product with sizes or colors has one for each.
1:44
The SKU is its unique identifier within the store,
1:47
and the barcode is what the scanner reads when receiving or picking an order.
1:52
The link icon shows the mappings:
1:54
the identifier the same variant has on each connected platform, like Mercado Libre or Shopify.
2:00
That's what lets an order coming in from there resolve to the right product.
2:05
And this is stock by location:
2:07
where the product physically is.
2:09
First the warehouse with the total, and inside it each location with its quantity,
2:14
its lot and its expiry date.
2:16
The same SKU can be spread across several locations,
2:19
which is why the total above doesn't always match a single row.
2:24
Back to the catalog, and we open the Combo Mate, which is marked as a Pack.
2:30
A pack is a product built from variants of other products in the catalog.
2:35
Here you can see what it contains:
2:37
one unit of yerba and one mate.
2:39
The pack carries no stock of its own, it gets assembled from its items.
2:45
That's everything you need to navigate the catalog:
2:48
find a product, see its variants, know which location it's in and understand how a pack is put together.
Did you get it?
As an operator, why does the product catalog appear empty until you pick a store?
Because each store has its own catalog
Because the catalog takes a few minutes to load
Because the warehouse has to be activated first
