In this video you will see how to use package sizes.
0:06
A package size defines the dimensions and weight of a parcel,
0:10
for example small, medium or large.
0:14
To get there, open the menu on the left, go into Settings and choose Package sizes.
0:19
Here is the list. Each card shows the name, a description, the height,
0:24
width and length in centimeters, the weight in kilograms and the external identifier.
0:30
The circle shows whether the size is active, in green, or inactive, in red.
0:36
A key detail is the external identifier.
0:39
It is a single code that identifies the package size outside of Deri,
0:44
and that same code is used for two things.
0:48
First, API integration: when creating orders,
0:51
whoever integrates can send this code instead of Deri's internal ID.
0:56
Second, Excel import: in the package size column you write that same code,
1:01
and Deri recognizes it.
1:03
It is best to keep it short and unique,
1:06
and not to change it if your integrations already use it.
1:11
To change a size, tap the three dots on its card and choose Edit.
1:15
You can change the name, the description and the external identifier.
1:19
When you change something, the Save button is enabled.
1:23
Let's improve the description of the small size.
1:26
A size you no longer offer can be deactivated,
1:29
and activated again whenever you need it.
1:32
Here we activate Extra grande:
1:34
tap the three dots and choose Activate. The circle turns green.
1:39
And that's it. With your sizes well defined,
1:42
every parcel is recorded with the right dimensions.
Did you get it?
