Manual routing: build your route by scanning

• 0:04Manual routing lets you build your route for the day straight from your phone:
• 0:08you scan your order labels, choose where you start from,
• 0:11and the app puts the stops in order for you.
• 0:14Let's see how it works, step by step.
• 0:16This is the routing screen.
• 0:18At the top you have the camera, and below it the list of orders you've already added to your route.
• 0:24To add an order, point the camera at its label.
• 0:27The app reads the code, and the order shows up in the list instantly.
• 0:32Do the same with every label you have.
• 0:34The counter at the top tells you how many orders you have so far.
• 0:38If you've already picked up orders at the store,
• 0:42you don't need to scan them one by one.
• 0:45Tap Add picked up, and the app adds at once every order marked as picked up by you.
• 0:51It tells you how many orders it added, and you see them appear in the list.
• 0:56You can also build the route from your shipments list.
• 0:58Press and hold an order to start selecting.
• 1:03Tap other orders to add them to the selection, and then the Add to route button.
• 1:09The app summarizes what it managed to add.
• 1:11If an order can't be added, for example because it was already on the route,
• 1:16it tells you which one and why.
• 1:19With all your orders ready, go back to Manual routing.
• 1:23Now you have seven on the route. Tap Continue.
• 1:27Set where you start from.
• 1:29You can use your current location, or search for an address.
• 1:33By default the route is circular: it ends where it starts.
• 1:37Save the starting point, and the app lets you know you can now begin.
• 1:44Tap Optimize route. Choose how many minutes you spend at each stop,
• 1:48or schedule the departure for later.
• 1:50When you start, the app calculates the best order for the stops,
• 1:54with the estimated arrival time at each one, and shows you the path on the map.
• 1:59This is the optimized route.
• 2:01But you know your area, and there may be deliveries you'd rather do before others.
• 2:06That's what priority zones are for.
• 2:08Tap Optimize and choose New.
• 2:10Then draw a zone on the map with your finger, around the stops you want to do first.
• 2:15Each zone has a number, which is its priority.
• 2:19You can draw several zones, expand one, erase it, or undo the last stroke.
• 2:24When you're done, tap Reoptimize route.
• 2:27The app asks what to do with the stops left without a zone:
• 2:31place them in front, or leave them for after the zones.
• 2:35And the route is recalculated respecting your priorities:
• 2:38the stops in zone one become the first ones.
• 2:41You can repeat this as many times as you like before heading out.
• 2:46When you're happy with it, tap Start route.
• 2:51You're now on your delivery run.
• 2:52You see the next delivery with its address and estimated time, and at the top your progress:
• 2:58delivered, not delivered and pending.
• 3:01Tapping a stop opens the shipment detail, where you mark the delivery or the failed delivery,
• 3:06and the route updates by itself.
• 3:08When you resolve the last one, you tap Finish route.
• 3:12And if at any moment you need to change something, even with the route underway,
• 3:17tap Edit route, the button at the top right.
• 3:20Confirm, and you're back at the scanning screen:
• 3:23you can add or remove stops, draw other zones and optimize again.
• 3:28Stops already delivered are kept, and what's left is recalculated from where you are.
• 3:34All your routes are saved in the history, with their stops and duration.
• 3:39That's manual routing: scan, sort and deliver, without depending on anyone to plan your day.
• 3:44And if your company prefers the monitoring center to build the route,
• 3:49instead of this screen you'll see your route already built.
